Kangana Ranaut’s Twitter account was suspended permanently for violating Hateful Conduct policy and Abusive Behaviour policy of the micro-blogging site.
According to a spokesperson of Actor Kangana Ranaut, the Twitter Account is “permanently suspended for repeated violations of Twitter rules.” The move followed the actor who commented on the alleged violence in West Bengal following the results of the assembly. The actor also commented on the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) victory in West Bengal during a series of provocative tweets. Your Instagram account is still functional.
Responding to the suspension Kangana says to ANI, “Twitter has just demonstrated that I am American and that a white man has the right to enslave a brown person at birth, that he wants to tell you what to think, speak or do. I have many platforms for raising my voice, including my own cinematic art.” “And my heart goes to the people of this country, who for thousands of years have been tortured, enslaved and censored, and yet no end to the suffering.
Ban on Kangana ‘s Twitter handle
A Twitter spokesperson commented on the development that the Kangana Account has been suspended for repeated violations “We were clear that we are going to take strong enforcement measures for behaviour that could lead to offline harm. The referenced account has been suspended continuously for repeated violations of Twitter rules, in particular our policy on hateful conduct and misbehaviour.”
The actor reproached Instagram with a video titled, “The death of democracy is distressed, beyond words. Our government’s important message.” She requested the state rule of the President in the video. Kangana Ranaut is known for her outrageous social media no-filter posts.
Earlier, Twitter account of Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel was also suspended for violating platform regulations. A few hours earlier this year, Kangana’s account was also restricted following the tweets of the actor against the Tandav web series. The tweet was later deleted.
