Blustery, the snowy conditions in Munich have not prevented PSG from getting red-hot and positioning itself for a semi-barrier of the Champions League.

Mbappe was a constant threat, and Neymar had two assists as the French champion responded to its 1-0 loss to Bayern in last year’s final by seizing the lead heading into the second leg next week in Paris.

The visitors went 2-0 up inside the first half hour thanks to goals from Marquinhos and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, but the PSG captain went off injured shortly after, and Bayern responded with headers from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Thomas Müller.

Mbappe sealed the victory in the 68th minute with his eighth goal of the competition. The visitors had four shots on goal in total.

“I believe it was efficiency. “We were able to score with almost all of our chances, and we were able to defend well as a team, even though it was difficult against Bayern Munich,” Mbappe said. “But there’s a second round at home, and we’ll have to win that again if we want to make the semifinals.”

Kylian Mbappe has found the net twice. In the first leg of his fourth match, Marquinhos has added his own goal, which has lead PSG to a 3-2 win in Bayern Munich.

In his last 32 matches, Bavaria joined the Allianz Arena unbeaten on Wednesday.

In what started as an up-and-down affair PSG didn’t waste time working. Mbappe’s first goal came three minutes into the game as he was determined to play the assailant early in the first serious attack on Paris side. In the 28th to put PSG at a command position, Marquinhos also added another.

However, the control of Paris Saint German was not long lasting. As the match progressed, Bayern had the overall lead (64 percent) and peppered up the Paris Saint German objective in 31 shots (12 on goal).

The Bavarian played most of the second half deep into the Paris Saint German zone, with the Red and Blues simply trying to stop the floodgates.

They were very successful in their efforts. In the 60th minute, Thomas Muller broke through to make it 2-2, but Mbappe couldn’t be denied its singular brilliance. Only eight minutes later the 22-year-old put PSG back ahead of 3-2 and again prove that he can rely on the biggest stage.

The remaining match saw PSG hanging in defence prevention and try and keep Bayern out of business desperately. In the decreasing moments Bayern had a number of close calls but could never finish and force a draw.
