Whitney Port revealed some heartbreaking family news this week.The Hills: New Beginnings star, 36, announced her pregnancy in a video on her YouTube channel on Wednesday, saying she is expecting her second child with husband Tim Rosenman. In the video, a recent doctor’s visit has the couple “scared” for the health of their unborn child, after they have previously lost three pregnancies.
I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant, which is obviously very exciting, and it was up until yesterday “Port said this in the video while sitting next to her husband, through tears. “Because of my history of miscarriages, I’ve been going to the doctor and keeping a close eye on things. Two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy have occurred in my life. And everything was going swimmingly until yesterday.
“She explained that her doctor discovered that “whatever was going on in there was not where it was supposed to be, given the week that I’m in.”Port praised her OB-GYN for “being an amazing, sensitive, sweet guy,” adding: “He expressed his scepticism about this pregnancy and advised me to have blood drawn. So, I’ll get my blood results today and see if the numbers are increasing or decreasing. He believes they will most likely fall. And he’s scheduled another ultrasound for Monday.
“”However, the moral of the storey is that this is most likely another unhealthy pregnancy. It’s such a big part of our lives right now, and it affects everything we do, both physically and mentally. And it just felt like an opportunity to simply share it, because I couldn’t sit here and go on with my life if I didn’t share it “Port elaborated. “And I know there are probably a lot of people out there who have had to deal with this.” Obviously, emotions are extremely complex “Port went on.
“I still feel very pregnant, my boobs are very sore, I’m extremely hungry, and I’m just very achy,” she says, “but I obviously don’t know what’s going on inside my body.”Port provided a positive update a few days later in the same video, noting that the doctor “actually saw an embryo and a heartbeat, which is something that we were not expecting.” They requested that fans “keep your fingers crossed” for them as they continue to provide updates.
