CLEVELAND, Ohio – CLEVELAND, Ohio – This is a great weekend for wrestling fans as WrestleMania 37 takes place on April 10th and April 11th, over two nights. And NBC Universal’s Peacock streaming service is the only way to see it.
Two irresistible powers lead the way in Night 1 of WrestleMania as Drew McIntyre attempts to reclaim his WWE championship against “The Almighty” Bobby Lashley. Night 2 concludes with a three-way threat match between Roman Reigns, Edge, and Daniel Bryan.
Every night at 7 p.m., the fun starts with the kickoff show of WWE. WrestleMania officially begins every night at 8 p.m.
Fans will have to sign up for the Peacock Subscription Service of NBC Universal, now the exclusive home of the WWE Network. Peacock offers a four-month exclusive deal for a one-time payment of $9.99.
For WWE, which had two Hall of Fame classes as well as two NXT takeover nights: Stand & Deliver, it has already been a huge week so far. WrestleMania 37 will be co-hosted in front of a (limited) live audience by Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil in Tampa, Fla.
You will review the full card for both nights and the following predictions:
DAY 1:
Bobby Lashley(c) vs. Drew McIntyre (WWE Championship Match)
I’d love to see Lashley hold the WWE Championship. His run, which in recent months has come out of nowhere, has been unbelievable. But WWE owes Drew McIntire his moment in WrestleMania before a live audience. He is going to have it here. Choice: McIntire Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair (Women’s Match SmackDown)
Something is lacking in this match. The construction has slowed a little since it was first revealed. However, since she won the Royal Rumble, Belair has been on the road to superstardom. Wait for banks to support her in what Night 1 may be. Pick: Belair Pick:
The Miz & John Morrison Bad Bunny & Damian Priest
This was perhaps one of the best celebrities in the history of WrestleMania. I didn’t expect something incredible in the match. However, it will be interesting to see if the training of Bad Bunny paid off. He doesn’t lose this one in any way. Pick: Bad priest and bunny
Cesaro against Seth Rollins.
These are two of the greatest performers in WWE. I could see Rollins get the win as he does at Mania normally. But this is ultimately WWE’s chance to make Cesaro a true champion. Don’t mess it up, please. Pick: Cesaro Pick:
Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods (c) vs AJ Styles & Omos The New Day (Raw Tag Team Championship Match)
Everybody dies of seeing Omos in the ring for a real match. And on The New Day he’s got the right duo to throw around. Nobody wants the New Day any more to get the belts. Let today’s Shawn Michaels and Diesel couples have their day. Pick: Omos and styles
Strowman Braun versus McMahon Shane (Steel Cage Match)
Ugh. Ugh. Is anyone really interested in watching this match? We were here a million times before with Shane McMahon. It’s just about jumping out of the cage and through a table. Strowman is going to win because it’s about all the great guys who were chosen in life. Whatever. Whatever. Choose: Strowman
Naomi & Lana vs Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke vs Riott Squad vs. Natalya & Tamina (Tag Team Turmoil to win the title match on the night of 2 WWE Women’s Tag);
With this new run, the meaning of the WWE Women’s Tag Titles has decreased. I’m not sure anyone’s going to be eagerly waiting for this result. Choice: Naomi & Lana.
DAY 2:
Edge vs. Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns (c) (Universal Championship Triple Threat Match)
This is a big match and the outcome is in the air. The story of Bryan trying to achieve the impossible was wonderful again. In the meantime, you must love Edge as the R-rated Superstar again. But I can’t bet against Reigns, particularly the big return of the second Uso brother. Either he will come to help Reign win or lose. But I don’t see the end of the Tribal Chief yet. It’s just not going to let Vince McMahon happen. Expect that to be a classic all-time. Pick: Kingdoms
Big E (c) compared to Apollo Crews (Intercontinental Championship Nigerian Drum Fight Match)
For this one, there was a huge building, which brought the best out of both competitors. The title was won by the Apollo Crews. The question is whether WWE now wants to push Big E to the image of the Universal Championship. Since the top is a little crowded, I’m going to suggest Big E holds the strap. Choice: Big E
Sheamus vs. Riddle (c) (United States Championship Match)
This one was put together to keep all of them important to the US Championship. I see no need to change the title unless WWE has been on Riddle. Pick: Riddle Riddle
Kevin Owens against Sami Zayn
The celebrity Logan Paul from YouTube is participating in this match. He would probably be in the corner of Zayn, which necessarily means that he would turn sides and support Owens. Call it the influence of Mike Tyson. Pick: Owens Pick:
Title Match WWE Women’s Tag Team
Night 1 winner Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax vs. Tag Team Turmoil Match winner
Since we pick Naomi and Lana to win Night 1, it makes no sense for Lana finally to win this unusual rivalry between Lana and Baszler and Jax. This is also where Baszler and Jax can (and possibly will) break up. Pick: Lana and Naomi
