Giuliani has said that if you confront the electronics authorities with incriminating evidence, they will proclaim our innocence.

Former US President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has said that evidence gathered during an FBI raid on his home as part of an investigation into his activities in Ukraine would show he and the former president are “innocent.”

The former mayor of New York City told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that the electronic devices confiscated at his Manhattan home and a separate office on Wednesday will prove he did not break federal law when he tried to dig up dirt on Democratic rival Joe Biden in Ukraine in 2019 to help Trump.

“The proof is conclusive. It establishes that the president, I, and all of us are innocent,” Giuliani said of the Ukraine dealings, for which the former president was later impeached by the US House of Representatives. In a Senate hearing, he was later acquitted.

Authorities may be focusing their investigation on claims that Giuliani did paid work for Ukrainian government officials while working for Trump, in violation of US laws prohibiting unregistered lobbying for foreign entities.

The allegations have been refuted by Giuliani.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two Ukrainian-born men who assisted Giuliani in those activities, were arrested and charged in October 2019 with illegally funneling massive contributions to a pro-Trump fundraising committee.

On Thursday, Giuliani added that the Justice Department had “spied” on him by accessing confidential lawyer-client details via the cloud, “blatantly breaching my civil rights.”

In an interview with WABC, Giuliani took a more personal tone, accusing federal prosecutors of being envious of his former job as US attorney for the Southern District of New York, where the warrants were against him were issued.

“I’ve been doing your work for a lot longer and a lot more than you have. Have any of you had any convictions like I did when I was a US attorney? “You haven’t had a guy like me in the US Attorney’s office since I left, so it’s no surprise you’re envious,” Giuliani said.

Trump had previously argued that the raid was “too unfair” on Thursday. “Rudy Giuliani is a patriot to the heart. Trump told Fox Business, “He just loves this country, and they raid his apartment.”

President Joe Biden, for one, has defended the investigation’s credibility, telling NBC that he was not even informed that a warrant had been issued.

“I promised I would not interfere with, order, or attempt to obstruct any investigation the Justice Department was conducting… He said, “I had no idea this was going on.”

Former Trump lawyer Giuliani denies representing Ukrainians

When Trump was impeached in December 2019 for allegedly using military assistance to manipulate the president of Ukraine for his own political benefit, Giuliani, who was once a top New York prosecutor before becoming the city’s celebrated mayor, was a personal lawyer for Trump.

According to sources, the FBI and the New York prosecutor for the Department of Justice had requested search warrants for Giuliani’s phones last year, but they were refused when Trump was in office, until January 20.

The FBI and the Department of Justice have refused to comment on the raids or the investigation.

Giuliani’s legal troubles aren’t over yet. In January, he was sued for $1.3 billion by a voting machine manufacturer for spreading allegations that its devices were involved in alleged widespread voting fraud that resulted in Trump’s defeat during the November presidential election.

There has been no evidence of serious election fraud.
