Alibaba, China‘s biggest e-trade organization, said Sunday it’s working with police to investigate alleged sexual misconduct at the employer after a female employee stated she became sexually assaulted.
Alibaba stated in a statement that it has a “zero-tolerance policy in opposition to sexual misconduct.”
“We have suspended applicable parties suspected of violating our guidelines and values, and we’ve established a unique inner venture force to analyze the problem and help with the ongoing police investigation,” the employer stated.
The research comes after an unidentified woman worker wrote an internal publish alleging her manager sexually assaulted her in a resort room during an enterprise ride to the town of Jinan in the eastern Shandong province, according to neighborhood media reports.
