Bill Murray casually revealed he’s already shot scenes for a Marvel film while promoting Wes Anderson’s latest film, The French Dispatch.”I recently completed a Marvel film. I’m not going to tell you, but don’t worry about it “Murray told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in Germany (via Variety’s translation).

While Murray did not explicitly state that the film is titled Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he did mention working with Peyton Reed, the director of Ant-Man 3.”In any case,” Murray continued, “some people were quite surprised why I decided on such a project.” “But one thing was clear to me: I got to know the director – and really liked him. He was funny, humble, and everything you could want in a director.”Murray went on to mention “the cheerleader storey, Bring It On,” which he described as a “damn good” film. Bring It On was directed by Reed, who also directed the first two Ant-Man films and is currently working on the third.

“So I agreed, even though as an actor, I’m not interested in these massive comic book adaptations,” Murray added.He also stated that he would most likely not participate in another big superhero blockbuster.”Let’s put it this way: the director is a nice guy, and now I’ve had a taste of what it’s like to work on a Marvel film. But I don’t think I need to go through that again.”A request for comment from Disney was not immediately returned.Murray has previously dabbled in Marvel projects. Murray first appeared on Saturday Night Live in 1975, when he voiced Johnny Storm, aka the Human Torch, on the Fantastic Four Radio Show.
