Diwali is not only a festival celebrated in India, but it is a worldwide celebration. Our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, recently celebrated her ‘first Diwali’ at her and Nick Jonas’ first home, and the photos show how magical it was.
Priyanka took to Instagram to share several stunning images from her and Nick’s Diwali celebration at their home. She also took fans inside her sprawling LA mansion with it.Priyanka took to Instagram to thank everyone who came out to support her and Nick at the Diwali party.
She penned, “Our first Diwali together, in our first home. This one will always be unique. Thank you to everyone who put in so much effort to make this evening so memorable.
You’re my guardians. Thank you to everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but also dancing the night away; you made me feel at home. And to the best husband and partner in the world, @nickjonas You are the stuff that dreams are made of. I adore you. My heart is overjoyed and overflowing with gratitude.
Diwali greetings.” Priyanka had previously shared photos from Mahalaxmi puja at her and Nick’s home, which showed fans how the two were honouring traditions together. In the puja photos,
Priyanka was dressed in a yellow saree, while Nick was dressed in a kurta. In the Diwali party photos, Nick and Priyanka wore the best ethnic outfits and dazzled everyone with their appearance.
The photos take us inside their LA mansion, which features a staircase and a cosy corner with a large framed ‘Gath Bandhan of their wedding veils.Meanwhile, Nick had also shared a heartfelt message for Priyanka while sharing glimpses from the Diwali party. In his note, he mentioned how Priyanka introduced him to many new Indian traditions and holidays. He used it to send Diwali greetings to fans all over the world.
