Imprint York, the entertainer most popular for playing Billy Merchant in “The Office,” has kicked the bucket. He was 55.
Following a brief and surprising ailment, York passed on promptly toward the beginning of the day on May 19 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office affirmed his passing, albeit the specific reason for death has not been revealed.
York, who has been a paraplegic since 1988, didn’t permit his handicap to keep him from having “a friendly, elevating, uplifting outlook and character.”
“He generally attempted to take a gander at what he could achieve and do, not what he was unable to do,” the entertainer’s obit said. “He had encountered many travel openings and numerous fantasies about what was to come.”
York was brought up in Ohio and moved on from Arcanum High School. In the wake of graduating with three majors from Anderson University, he was urged to move to California to seek a profession in acting. The entertainer, who is a big TV and film fan, has had a string of TV roles on shows like “CSI: NY” and “8 Simple Rules.”He likewise had an uncredited job in Steven Spielberg’s “A.I. Man-made consciousness.”
The entertainer’s first appearance as Billy Merchant on “The Office” was during its second season when Michael Scott (Steve Carrell) carries him into the workplace for an incapacity mindfulness meeting. Billy was the property director of the Scranton Business Park up until Dwight (Rainn Wilson) got it from him toward the end of the 6th season.
York is supported by his mother, Becky, father, Glenn, three siblings, Brian, Jeff, and David, as well as various aunties, uncles, cousins, family members, and companions.
