Chris Daughtry is flying home from his show visit to be with his family following the abrupt demise of his little girl, Hannah. The 25-year-old was observed dead in her Nashville home Friday by the Nashville Police Department, PEOPLE affirms. “Because of the sudden demise of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s little girl, Hannah, all as of now planned shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been deferred,” a rep for the artist said in an assertion to PEOPLE on Friday.
The explanation proceeded: “The Daughtry family expresses gratitude toward you for your arrangement and consciously requests protection during this extremely challenging time. Further subtleties will be made accessible sometime in the not too distant future. The examination concerning this terrible passing is still ongoing.”
Prior to this misfortune, the band started visiting recently. The visit started off on Nov. 3 with a stop at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville prior to making a trip to Providence, Rhode Island; Portland, Maine; Niagara Falls, New York; and Syracuse, New York. The band was booked to make its 6th stop Friday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
