Katharine McPhee was severely reprimanded by her husband David Foster for having revealed to the public the name of her 3-week-old boy. Katharine McPhee revealed her baby’s name-Rennie Foster-and had trouble doing so with her husband in an interview with Hoda and Jenna today.
In the interview, when the actress revealed the baby’s name, she said that her husband would probably kill her because he had said that.” Katharine was back with an update after the SiriusXM The Jess Cagle Show incident, where she opened a row with her husband to reveal their son’s name. Katharine McPhee spoke of the reaction of her husband and the spontaneous revelation in the interview.
Further to her position, the actress said it was an unexpected moment as the host of the show that Hoda was good friends with her husband. Only two hours before his birth, Katharine McPhee and David Foster decided on the name of their son. She added that the name took her breath away as they would call him something completely different. They wanted to name their baby with a big name that doesn’t always have a big meaning.
