Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys recently gave fans a video tour of their new California mansion. This inside look was provided by the duo in a new video for the Architectural Digest (AD) YouTube channel. They showed off the scenic view from their Oceanside mansion and opened the door to their private life in it.
The mansion is located in sunny La Jolla, California, on the Pacific Ocean’s coast, and features a “art-filled, modernist home.”This home was designed by critically acclaimed architect Wallace E. Cunningham, and after laying the groundwork for this ‘artful escape,’ AD 100 designer Kelly Behun assisted the couple in fitting in the final pieces and creating their “literal Dreamland.
“Keys can be heard telling the interviewer near the beginning of the video, “[It’s] a place to create dreams and to be bold enough to dream your wildest dream — for us to even be here is a wildest dream.” (Sic) Even Beatz chimed in at one point, admitting that their eight-year-old home is “incredibly important to me” and that they hired Ms Behun because her work left pieces of her “soul” in everything she designed.
