HIS DAUGHTER SAYS EAZY-E DESERVES SUPER BOWL LVI SHOUTOUT FROM FELLOW N.W.A LEGEND DR. DRE

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Hip hop fans rejoiced last week when the National Football League revealed the lineup for the Pepsi halftime show.

On February 13, 2022, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Mary J. Blige are expected to take the stage at SoFi Stadium, making it the most Hip Hop-centric performance in NFL history.

While it will undoubtedly be a historic occasion for the culture, Eazy-daughter E’s Ebie is hoping that his former N.W.A partner-in-rhyme Dr. Dre will at least acknowledge the late legend, making the occasion even more memorable. According to TMZ, Ebie wants Dre to pay tribute to her father because two other Compton icons will be onstage. She went on to say that Eazy-E paved the way for other gangsta rappers to follow and helped cement the genre’s place in Hip Hop history. Kendrick Lamar, the only other Compton native besides Dr. Dre, once said of Eazy-E, “I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Eazy.”

Ebie’s expectations are in line with the 20-minute length of the show. She’s hoping for a quick “RIP Eazy” during the star-studded performance, which she says would “mean the world” to her. During their N.W.A heyday, Eazy-E and Dr. Dre had a falling out, but they eventually reconciled before Eazy died in 1995.

In a WEtv documentary titled The Mysterious Death of Eazy-E, Ebie recently investigated her father’s death. Despite her efforts to enlist Ice Cube’s assistance, she decided to proceed without him. Instead, Ebie, her mother Tracy, and journalist Jasmine Simpkins pieced together the story by interviewing eyewitnesses to Eazy-final E’s days, revealing previously unseen footage, and testing long-held theories about his untimely death.
