Robert Littal Gives His Thoughts On The First Two Episodes Of “HAWKEYE”

The best name for a comic book gang is The Tracksuit Mafia. It’s incredible that they’re in a live-action series, and they’re hilarious in the first two episodes. I hope they get more screen time as the series progresses.Did you know Hawkeye is the only original Avenger who has yet to receive his own film?We don’t know much about Clint Barton’s past, despite the fact that he has appeared in and been mentioned in numerous films.

The majority of what we hear is Black Widow talking about their time-fighting Shield. Clint Barton in Hawkeye is a tired, broken-down man who has seen too much and suffered too much loss.

Clint Barton in Hawkeye is a tired, broken-down man who has seen too much and suffered too much loss.

In the superhero genre, heroes are expected to bounce back from whatever happens as if nothing happened. THOR, for example, is always just THOR. One aspect of the MCU that I appreciate is the presence of non-Godlike heroes. They make certain that the events that occur to them have long-term consequences (for example, Tony’s PTSD or Rhodey’s legs).

Clint is simply a man in this case

A highly trained assassin and assassin at times, but still just a man. His body is failing, his hearing is deteriorating, and all he wants to do is spend time with his family. People give him free meals and want to take selfies with him, and he is embarrassed. He is nothing more than a man. He does not consider himself a celebrity or a hero. It’s a great way to kick off the series and establish that this isn’t Captain Marvel.

This is more akin to Michael Jordan’s time with the Washington Wizards. He is still extremely capable, but he is not the same person he once was.Kate Bishop, 22, is the next to arrive. Without giving anything away, it’s very interesting how they tie in Bishop to Barton, but it works for me despite the fact that you can see it coming a mile away.

Without giving anything away, it’s very interesting how they tie in Bishop to Barton, but it works for me despite the fact that you can see it coming a mile away. She, like most young people in the MCU, is smitten by the Avengers, and in particular, Barton.

Once she gets into trouble with the Track Suit Mafia, Barton is forced to make a decision.Go home and spend the holidays with his wife and children, or try to keep Bishop out of trouble. Naturally, he does the latter, and thus the adventure begins.

Hailee Steinfeld is an excellent choice for the role of Bishop, and her chemistry with Jeremy Renner is fantastic. While Bishop can hold her own in fight sequences, she is still a 22-year-old woman dealing with grown men thugs, so she struggles and needs Barton to save her because she hasn’t been trained to be a hero yet.

I do have one major concern based on the first two episodes. While I love the Track Suit mafia in this series, I’m not a fan of the family drama between Bishop, her mother, and her mother’s fiancee, who is clearly a villain.

In real life, someone as astute as Bishop’s mother would recognise that her fiancee is up to no good.Bishop mentions to her mother some of the strange coincidences surrounding a recent death and her mother’s fiancee in one scene. Her mother, who owns a MULTI-BILLION DOLLAR security firm, dismisses it as insignificant.
