Hip hop fans have had a difficult couple of weeks as the industry has been plagued by tragedies. According to Hollywood Unlocked, rapper Baby Blue from the R&B and hip-hop group Pretty Ricky was attacked by two armed robbers at the Sparez Bowling Alley on Wednesday.

With laughing emojis, comedian Lil Duval commented, “So he get shot then dm ya’ll?” In response to these comments, the outlet shared another post, this time showing a video of what appeared to be Baby Blue lying on the floor in a pool of blood, surrounded by his team, pleading for assistance. Who is Babyblue?
Ricky that originated in Miami, Florida. The group originally featured Blue whose birth name is Ala Diamond Smith and his brother Spectacular Smith plus Corey Mathis who goes by the stage name Slick ‘Em, and Marcus Cooper (Pleasure P). Baby Blue had just recently decided to fly solo and release music of his own. He was about to travel across cities with the Millenium Tour throughout 2020 which stood canceled after the coronavirus restrictions were set in motion.Baby Blue and the group Pretty Ricky achieved success in the mid-2000s, amassing a large fan base. Their albums ‘Bluestars’ and ‘Late Night Special’ went gold, and their singles ‘Grind With Me’ and ‘On the Hotline’ were certified platinum. In 2019, the group joined B2K, Mario, Chingy, the Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, and Bobby Valentino on the Millenium Tour.
